Recently I got my hands on a ipod classic and was able to restore it and download rock box, but I unplugged it incorrectly and the files got corrupted. I tried restoring it but couldn’t get itunes to read it, I tried deleting the files on it but that seemed to make it worse, then I tried uninstalling rockbox but it didnt seem to do anything. So now my computer recognizes it but rockbox comes up with a network error and even then it won’t detect a mountpoint and itunes still wont recognize it. The only thing that comes up on the ipod screen is the rockbox boot loader. Is there anything I can attempt to download to get it working again or would possibly replacing the hard drive work?

Maybe try repairing the disk In Properties if you are on Windows or "S.O.S." in Disk utility on Mac?
