iPod Help with ipod.

Okay so my friend just rceently got her ipod back from godknowswhere.
She plugged her ipod into her computer and all of her songs were deleted.
Im just wodnering if theres any way for her to get these songs back because she is seeming REALLY upset, she has music on there that she CANNOT get back. so, if theres a way, help? please?

it kind of sounds like she pluged it into someones computer and iTunes erased her library, is that what happened?

I think you can get programs to recover files from HD's but i cant remember what the program was called

I guess thats what happened, except on her own computer.

If the music isn't on her computer, I'm pretty sure she's out of luck. Sorry, I know that doesn't help much.
