Can anyone explain to me what the different items in iStatNano are? I'm referring to the different classifications in CPU (User, System, Nice(?) and Idle) and Memory (Wired, Active, Inactive, Used, Free, and Swap). What do they mean and is there anything specific I should do to keep them running optimally? I notice that as my Memory numbers go up that performance seems to slow (obviously). But the Swap number appears to go up and then needs to be restarted before it goes back down. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

More RAM will help run everything more smoothly. I'd just ignore the numbers, OSX is working behind the scenes to make sure everything is tickety-boo.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain eh? I'm just curious and couldn't really find anything when I searched. Anyone else care to explain a little or provide a link to some explanation? Thanks.
