The wifi at my house is protected by a password. My dad finally remembered the password and put it in our network thing. It unlocked and gave me the wifi logo at the top but whenever I try to use the internet it says its not connected. My ipod is a 2nd gen and the password thing was WEP password. My ps3 also does the same thing.
PS- I do have the correct password so that is not the problem.
PSS- My wifi does work in other places with wifi.

It does sound like you are having problems with your router. Have you tried restoring to default factory settings?

I have tried restoring the itouch it does nothing.
But all the computers in my house work so how can it be the router?
I have not tried restoring the router to factory settings.

If youre computer is running Windows 7.. You can install a program called connectify to turn your pc into a wifi hotspot... you could try that.. and see if it works.. here´s the link

http://www.connectify.me/

Cheers..
