I'm about to purchase an apple tv and had a pretty important question.

I have a huge collection of .avi videos and movies but i hear there's no way to use them with apple tv.

What would be the best way to convert them and is it possible to convert them without losing ANY quality. I'll be using a 50" tv.

Thanks.

VisualHub

okay thanks, i've got VisualHub but i'm confused as to which settings i should use. Space or the time it takes to convert is not an issue, i just need to know which settings to use so i dont lose any quality and so they work with apple tv.

Thanks!

with the release of version 1.23, there is a direct export option to make them compatible with the apple tv.

Yeah, there should be an Apple TV preset; something around 2500Kbps.
