I've got a problem. If i plug my ipod into my computer, iTunes doesn't recognise it! Usually i would just be really frustrated and leave it, but i am going overseas in about 1-1.5 hours. I really want my ipod for the trip!

Please, please, please, please help me!

(oh yeh, and i've got a PC, not a Mac... don't kill me! lol)

Thankyou in advance!!

Make sure you're the only user logged on to the machine. If you are running XP and switched users, iTunes can get really confused.

Since you're low on time, reboot the machine with your iPod connected to be sure.

Does your PC recognise it as a disc? If yes, try reinstalling iTunes. If that doesn't solve it than try another application for uploading music to you iPod. Browse the forum, there are a couple of threads about this.

Thankyou!!!

I did two things:
1. Instead of using the cord that connects the ipod to the PC through a USB port, i used...uhm... the other one. lol. (i think there may be a problem with my USB ports.)

2. I reinstalled iTunes and the ipod.

Anyway, thankyou so much for taking the time to reply!
