HELP with itunes store...new to it

hello i just recently started to buy from itunes store, now i downloaded episodes for greys anatomy n heroes n it downloaded both HD n standard, now i deleted the standard from the download list, but it keeps appearing again, so i went to the preferences and unchecked the option for automatically checking for purchases, n still the things i deleted pop out in the download list!!
how can i delete the purchases i dont want!
n i want to delete the shows i downloaded but i cant!! i right click delete n nothing happens!!:S
also can i copy my shows to a memory stick or DVD

Have you tried to delete them from the tv shows section (not the download section)? It should work there. When I right click (control click) / delete; it asks me if I want to remove the show from the library. I say yes. Then it asks me if I want to remove from hdd, I say yes.
