Help with jailbroken restore...

Ok so I have a Iphone 4 w IOS 5.0.1 jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.9b9

I want to restore it to factory settings via Itunes and everytime I try i get a unrecognized build error.

Put the phone into DFU mode and then restore.

just tried and got
"the iphone could not be restored. This device isnt eligible for the requested build."

What do I do?

Check your hosts file and remove the # sign, also if you have TU on your computer, open it, click on advance tab and uncheck the box where it said "Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit".
