HI all

I've agreed to be the webmaster for a club & the National body uses a program called jooma, which I have downloaded. Only problem is I don't think it's MAC compatible & I can't seem to find any info on the web about if it is or not

Anyone use it??

Thanks

Joomla isn't an application for computers, its a web based application. Its a CMS (content management system) which allows you to easily edit the website. The application is installed to the server where the website is hosted, and not you computer.
Chances are, if you say they are already using it, then its already installed, and you just need to go to the admin login page online (typically www.websitename.com/administrator/)
If it needs installing, then you just download the zip file, open that up and upload it to your ftp server.

Hope this helps.

kev.

(Oh and Im assuming you mean joomla, not joolma)

Thanks for that, it now makes sense to me!

I downloaded the program & couldn't work out what to do with it

The worrying thing is they want me to run the website

Ha, Ha.....at least someone has a sense of humor!!
