I think I'm going to get the Lion developer preview today (LEGALLY thx) but I have a few questions for people that already have it:
1. How does it work? Do I download an install file and burn it to a DVD?
2. How should I go about installing it? If I don't install it on a partition, will my files be overwritten? Because I do /NOT/ want to lose stuff (I have a Time Machine backup)
3. What happens if something goes wrong? I have the original install disks, but... I don't know.
Answers to any of these would be very appreciated. Thanks so much!

Um... you go back to whatever OS you were using before.
Seriously.

Suggestion:
Do not, repeat DO NOT, install Lion _over_ the OS you are already using.

Instead, install it onto a clean, unused partition somewhere.

The idea is to EXPERIMENT with it, and NOT to use it as "your main OS".
Not yet, anyway.

Got it?
