Ok soo the past like couple months i have left my macbook pro on overnight because i was downloading stuff so when i woke up in the morning it would be all finished or have a good chunk downloading. So in the morning when i go to it the screen is blank and all i have to do is run my finger over the trackpad and it comes to life or occasionaly i think i had to press the spacebar on a couple of times. Anyways to my question, the last two mornings when i put my finger along the trackpad or hit the spacebar nothing happened it was stil a dark screen. In fact i pressed every button on the keyboard and nothing happened. And i believe it hadn't shut down because i can still hear it inside working. I have no clue what happened as i havent changed anything to my knowledge. So any help as to why it is doing this would be much appreciated. And i can rovide further info if needed

Stop torrenting movies and music. It's illegal

He didnt mention torrenting once.
Also its not illegal if you already own them.

Your Macbooks just become unresponsive because its been in screen dim mode for so long, nothing you can do about it. Make sure its updated regularly and got plenty of ventilation.

Illegal Torrenting is however wrong.

Have you tried adjusting the screen brightness (F2 button)?

Might be a long-shot, but you never know...:)
