Hi everyone! Total noob when it comes to Apple products.

I have a White MacBook Mid 2010 Unibody with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz & 2 GB RAM running 10.6.8

What is the Maximum amount of RAM I can install to this unit.

I have been looking into this and have not been able to get a clear answer to this.

If possible could someone please point me in the right direction in regards to where would be best to purchase the RAM for myself a UK MacBook user.

Many Thanks to all who can help!

Tommy

You can find specs on all Apple products, including maximum RAM:

This may be useful:

8 GB in snow leopard, 16 gb if you upgrade to mountain lion, although I wouldn't suggest more than 8 gb since the processor and hard disk are old on the base model.
