Help with messenger

I just recently made the switch from a pc to a mac by purchasing a macbook pro and I'm having problems with messenger. It doesn't allow me to change my display picture and the webcam doesn't seem to be working with the messenger. Just wanted to know what I should do to fix this. Also Ichat doesn't seem to want to open. Please let me know if it's possible to fix these.

You're right it doesnt work with messenger. Try aMessenger
