Help with Microsoft Office

Hi all,

I bought microsoft officer 2019 for my mac a few years ago on a personal licence & it now says I have to subscrive to office 365 to keep using it
Anyone have any idea how I can get round this as I"ve already paid for the licence?

How did you install it? I believe the App Store version only works with 365.

Or is the message mentioning end-of-support for Office 2019? Support ends in a week for it so no more updates of any kind. Maybe message is saying "if want continued support..."?

I believe the latest stand-alone version is called Office 2021, at least that's what I use on my M4 MBA. So if 2019 is obsolete maybe see if you can get a cheap (or, you know…) licence for 2021 somewhere?

This is some BS error that is due to either an Apple OS update or an MS error. You basically need to reinstall Office 2019. I purchased through Microsoft and the able to login to Microsoft, redownload and install. I have had to do this on several Mac's (all individual, one computer licenses). You need to do a clean reinstall. and will need you licenses key.
