So I starred a migration from a PC yesterday and when I came home from work 22 hours later it still had 70 hours remaining so I canceled that and decided into just move the files I wanted and get the rest later. I have the 512gb i5 8gig rMBP and having what files move over says 160gb is used. I deleted third files but the space never became free, even after emptying the trash can. When I try to empty the trash there are still files in it, all video that won't delete, about 10gb worth.

Questions I guess are this:
How do I free up the space they migration used?

Is it normal for migration to take that long?

How do I remove those files that are in my trash?
