Ok my story.
i have been making music for 5 years on windows machine's. I bought a quad core 2.4 ghz about a year ago and had a lot of problems with the machine. So when i was in america i decided to buy a macbook and for me i haven't looked back since.
Then i heard about the hackintosh and decided to set up my quad core as a hackintosh although its powerful it isn't as stable as the macbook obviously. And if i use it i don't know if my data will be safe
I have also bought a old quicksilver G4 of ebay to use as a storage device
So my question is which do i use for my music macbook or hackintosh? i was going to sell the quad core but i wont get anything near what i paid for it.
i was also going to buy a sata controller card for the quicksilver and put some hard drives in there but that costs money
i guess im just looking for some advice really
so what do i do?
use the macbook and have the quad core collect dust. Sell the quad core and use the macbook?
any advice is greatly appreciated
thanks
