Hi,
I'm new to Macs (just got a Mac Book Pro). I am having one problem and can't seem to find the answer. As the title states I can't seem to get into shared folders on the server.

I have created a new Group Policy on the domain. I have disabled the Microsoft network client: Digitally sign communications (always) and Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always) lines.

After doing so I restarted the server.

I can Ping the server both by IP and by name from the Mac, BUT when I try to connect the server I get the following error: Could not connect to the server because the name or password is not correct.

It never asks me for a username/password like it is supposed to.

Any help would be REALLY REALLY appreciated. I like this machine, but I've got to make this work.

Thanks
