Hello everyone,
OK this is my first post on here, I have been religiously reading peoples posts over the last few weeks in order to learn about the new Mac-Pro's of which I am now a proud owner (arrived this morning!!) this is my first mac so it was quite a big step but I am loving every moment! Anyway I have just installed 8GB (4x2GB) of ram from OWC and I followed a post from here on the configuration:

I then decided to run xbench I know a lot of people on this forum seem to say its no good but I wanted to check I had installed my ram correctly (apple is recognizing the 10GB in 'about this mac') and to check the speed of my system.
As I have explained I'm new to this and I have tried to find somewhere that explains the xbench results but with no luck! I was just wondering from what I can work out I have a very low memory test that is 139.84 and I have a very low thread test 432.38 (I don't even know what a thread test is but having payed all this money I would say the higher the better, lol)
Im not worried about the hard drive results I am waiting for 2 of the new western digital 640GB drives to arrive. I would be grateful for any advice information, comments or opinions on my situation, what do you think of my results? I am just worried I have either done something wrong or I need to send something back?
