I just bought a quad 2.8ghz MP, I'm just wondering how easy will it be to install a better graphics card in it later? and is it good plugged into a surge protector or do I need something different.

Installing one of the seven working graphics cards is easy as pie.

A surge protector is always nice, but if you have the money (or need the security of) for a UPS (uninterruptible power supply), get one.

Thanks.

I was gonna buy the a new 24 inch iMac, but saw the MP in the refurbished store and bought that for almost the same amount.

Now I need a 20 inch monitor for it. any ideas?

I would get a 3870 to throw in there, it's easy to install, just get a midget or a little kid to plug the power cable in.

I bet the new cards that come out with Nehalam will not have DVI but mini display port.

Where to buy a airport card for my mac pro?

or

would one of those USB wireless adapters work just as good?

I would say...from Apple maybe? Its an Apple product no? I'd start there..man oh man, what is Google for anyway?

well apple told me I'd have to go to an apple services provider. So I'm wondering what are my options, does the usb adapters work just as good?

Or normal Display Port.
It's an annoying adapter mess but I can imagine at least one DVI port on the video card. Considering you can get one with DVI, HDMI, and Displayport on the same card right now.

If you like sub-par monitors go ahead. I would get an Apple 20 inch display, there is NO comparison between some dell and an Apple.
Uh, sure.

I'd get the Airport otherwise I do know that Rosewill makes an OS X compatible 802.11n USB adapter.

are you near an applestore? if you buy the wireless card there they install it for free....

With purchasing a RAM, HDD or any other stuff I always check OWC first. They are very reliable and have good prices and great customer service.

If I were you I would consider buying 24" monitor instead 20" you want regret it after all. You can choose between Samsung, Dell etc.
