I have two comps on a different OS.

My laptop is on Vista 64 and the desktop is on Win7 64.

redsn0w 0.9.6 beta 5 works like a champ on the Windows 7 comp, but locks up on Vista during the "Uploading ramdisk" portion of the process every time. If it doesn't do that, it crashes repeatedly.

I really need it to work on Vista since that's my laptop and I need to be able to unlock people's phones elsewhere. I don't like having people come to my house for business.

FTR, I'm doing everything right. I have redsn0w in a Pwnage folder with the firmware and I'm running it as an administrator in XP Compatibility mode. The only difference I can see between doing it on Windows 7 and Vista is the compatibility mode for W7 has the option for XP w/ SP3, whereas Vista only goes up to SP2.

Could this be the issue? If so, is there a solution?

Thanks in advance!
