Hi just Purchased an Apple Watch S8 I bought one with a data plan because my WiFi is weak.Today it is constantly
asking for a password making it unusable could someone give me some suggestions....Thanks Steve

You need to give a lot more information than that. Unfortunately what you said is no help at all. Please explain exactly what is asking for a password and maybe include some screenshots?

If I am interpreting you correctly you bought a Watch with cellular capability? And I assume you have linked it with a cellular carrier? Can I also assume you have it paired to an apple iPhone?

What is asking for a password? Not enough information.

I'll assume you mean your new watch is asking you to sign into your Apple ID. As others have said, your message is pretty vague.

If that's the case, you'll just have to type in your Apple ID password. If you're having trouble typing it out on the watch (because how would you type a complex password on your watch), you can sort of just hold up your watch near your phone when you open the keyboard and it will sometimes rarely let you input text with your iPhone's keyboard. That's what I had to do to get it to actually put in my password right.

Sorry about my original post was in a flap about it..... What I meant to say is the watch is paired and everything
it keeps asking for the passcode which is driving me crazy...

It's only supposed to be asking for your passcode when it thinks it's not on your wrist. Are you sure you're not putting anything between the bottom of the watch and your wrist? Do you have any tattoos?

The Apple Watch will generally only ask for the passcode if you’ve just switched it on, or have removed it from wrist and it can’t detect wrist anymore.
So generally after putting the watch on after charging it will ask for passcode, and if you are using it whilst not wearing it will ask for passcode more frequently.
That’s its basic security functions.
Hope that makes sense and help’s.
