Hi there.
I have around 300 ebooks from a friend of mine.
The books are from his office, and regarding the HR department.
What he wants to do is create some kind of online library, so that everyone in the office can enter into the Intranet they have there, and access the books online.
Any ideas on which software, or direction would be best to go about it.
The ideas is that they not only want to offer all the work material to everyone using ebooks, but that the can also then see exactly WHO is reading what material.
Also, is there a way to see exactly how far in each book they read.
The ebooks are in XML using flashpageflip (add .com to see website). I bought the XML version, but now they want to take it another step forward and see (for example) if there is a 20 page document, and Mr. X opens it and reads only the first 5 pages..... they need to see that.
Now I was thinking... how would THAT be possible. I guess that is more than can be achieved in XML, right?
Anyway, please hit me with your best solutions. IT's a non profit, and they are helping to teach English and Maths in Chile, to kids who will never have a decent education. So I am really trying to help this guy out.
Thanks for your time!
