Hi,

First post!.

I am currently running leopard on my imac love it but my photoshop wont run.

Im not planning on going back to tiger but can I also run tiger just like if i were going to be running windows? which I would never do lol! But I want to use my photoshop and i have plenty of room to partition the drive.

Thanks,

Hi, welcome to Mac Rumors ..

I not absolutely sure if you can run both Tiger and Leopard but I'm sure someone will answer that question for you.

What version of Photoshop are you trying to install?

What exactly is happening?

FJ

Photoshop 7.0 allready installed when i was running tiger.

It says program error unexpected unrecoverable.

Reinstalled it and it does the same thing.

You cannot run PS 7 on Leopard. This is a well known "issue". You should be able to have two OSX installs on separate partitions (or even put one on an external drive).

As robbieduncan said, version 7 will not run on Leopard (I wasn't sure so I had a quick look on Google)

With so many new (and useful) features on later version of Photoshop, why not try eBay for a CS / CS2 upgrade.
