HELP with os x mavericks and safari's "top site" preset.

Hi guys. just recently updated and I hate this safari's top list preset...
what ever happened to open safari and taking me to apple website as a preset? How do i disable this crap? Thank you.

Go to Safari Preferences --> Safari opens with --> New windows open with:
