Help with Pandora

I looking for some help, I just loaded Pandora on both my IPhone and iPad, my question is on my iPhone there is a icon for AirTunes but it is not there on my iPad.. Any idea why this is or did down load the wrong app. Also any idea why pandora times out while playing through AirTunes, love the app but the time outs are really starting to bug me.

It's annoying that it's like that. If lock the iPad, then double click the home button to get the audio controls you should see the AirPlay symbol.
