help with photoshop elements 4.0.1

I'm guessing the folder icons mean that the layers are grouped?

EDIT: I just opened up the psd in Pixelmator and that's what it is. The objects are grouped. You need to find out how to open/expand the group to view the individual elements.

You won't be able to edit those because they are in layer groups (with PSE can't edit, as indicated by the pencil-slash icon).
