Hi Everyone,
I need help with moving moving pictures on my old pc to my MacBook Pro (iPhoto). What is the easiest way to do this?
Thanks,
carps

How big is the folder with all the images/photos?

Maybe you can use a USB stick or File Sharing to simply transfer the images/photos to your Mac, then import them into iPhoto and delete the folder(s) you copied to your Mac, as iPhoto made a copy into its own library file.

Just do it over the network if you know how to do that?

Make sure both computers are on the same network, and enable file sharing on both. Drag the pics on your PC to your public folder, then go to your 'Shared' devices in Finder on your new Mac, navigate to the public folder on your PC and copy the pictures folder onto your Mac. Then add them to iPhoto once they're on your Mac.
