I have a 640G portable HD that I use for various files and music storage.
I recently plugged it into a windows 7 machine to transfer some music. It popped up an error saying there was a virus on it (there was a safe .exe file on it). We clicked cancel and now we can not see the drive on a windows machine or a mac. Only place I can see it is in Activity Monitor. It's showing in the root dir and is showing it as using some CPU and memory.

The light on the HD does come on and it is formatted to ntfs if that matters.

Anyway I can fix this drive so I can use it again and maybe save the data?

Thanks for any help!
