I have been trying to install my PIXMA MP620 Canon printer for two nights now. I am following step by step the pdf. guide offered under my printer's wireless help menu: http://www.usa.canon.com/app/pdf/wireless/setup_620_980_mac.pdf

I have gone through the process several times now, I have installed each of the drivers for my operating system, Mac OS X Version 10.6.7. Including:
mp620sosxns10ea7-3.dmg (MP620 series MP Driver Ver. 1.0 for Network,
msd_-mac-mp620-14_8_5a-ea8_2.dmg (MP620 series Scanner Driver Ver. 14.8.5a,
and misd-mac-1_7_0m.dmg (ICA Driver Ver. 1.7.0m).

When I get to step 11 of the pdf., The Canon IJ Network Tool Dialogue box shows no printer. I have checked that the printer is on, that both the printer and the computer's USB cable is attached, and that the drivers are installed.

Does anyone have a solution? This has proved very frustrating.
Am I doing something incorrectly?

The printer used to perform just fine before my HD crashed.
I have since reinstalled a new HD and am now trying to reequip it with all my previous devices.

I appreciate your response or redirection with this matter.
Thanks.
