Help with purchasing a monition

Hi,

I was talking to a Apple Specialist today, and they said IPS display technology for the last generation Mac Pro is not compatible; is that true?

I found this display via Amazon that says "UltraSharp" does that mean IPS.

every monitor thats not a thunderbolt display works

get a ips anything. avoid a tn panel. that dell ultrasharp 2414 is nice i have one that i connect a macbook to.
