Hello! I am fairly new to Mac's (1st one) and this is a G4 Sawtooth (AGP) which has been upgraded to 1.2 Ghz (CPU), 512 MB memory (another 512 MB will be added in a few days) and a ATI 9000 Pro 128 MB Video Card. Everything works fine on this computer and am quite happy but I do need a Video Card upgrade.
I have been playing WoW and while solo or small 5 man groups are ok, the 40 man raids are really lagging me badly. I have the opportunity to purchase the Nvidia Gefore 6800 GT but I can not find information if the card will work in my computer and the best I can get from the seller is that it should.
I would like to know if this would be a good purchase (it will be used) or if there are better options available and what you would recommend. I would like to keep my purchase below $200.00 if possible. Thank you to all who take the time to reply.
