Carrier Help with purchasing iPhone 7 on AT&T? & new plan

Hi,

I'm a bit confused with the current purchasing options. Before I remember being it as simple as $99 for new iPhone & the cost of the phone was rolled into your monthly bill.

I currently have an iPhone 6 that I got 2 years ago with AT&T. I had the original iPhone with Unlimited Data Plan but now I have 15 GB which is way too much.

I want an iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB which is $869 unlocked, one time payment.
There's an option for this from Apple or AT&T. I don't mind paying in full if I can do so in cash.

I usually upgrade every 2 years. I wouldn't mind being able to upgrade next year if the next phone is cool.

My current AT&T bill is around $140-145/month. How much will these options increase my bill?
