I'm not a huge fan of Quicktime X but it seems to be the default for Mac so I tend to use it. The one thing that REALLY bothers me is that the controls for controlling the video DISAPPEAR and don't come back. Is there a way to change this? There has to be...

Basically once I hover back over on a video I can't control it unless I know the keyboard shortcuts. Please help, thanks!

You can also use Applications / Utilities / QuickTime Player 7 or VLC Player or Movist to play video files.

Btw, to play or pause video in QT X, use the SPACEBAR. To fast forward use CMD+ArrowRight (repeat for faster speeds), the move backwards use CMD+BackArrow.

I learned that... but isn't there a way so that when I hover over the Quicktime the controls pop up? That's the way I would ideally like it... Thank you.
