help with redsnow 0.9.5

i downloaded redsnow 0.9.5 but it doesnt seem to recognise the ipsw...
i hav the gm release of iOS4 (8A293) as well..
anyone got any bright ideas to fix dis???

Which handset are you using?

Remember Redsn0w 0.9.5 only works for 3G..

For the GM build of iOS4 you need to use the latest beta of redsn0w... 0.9.5b5-1

damn it...cheers for dat guys..m usin 3GS...i have already updated my phone to the iOS4 usin the GM build. anyone know for sure if dat can be unlocked?? dats my main concern..
i know most forums ask me to wait till d end of the month for new jailbreaks and unlocks...

You should have used this method for your 3GS

Most? If you have updated to any official FW above 3.1.2 then your BB has been upgraded beyond the point of an unlocking tool. They are telling you to wait because thats all you can do.

Your right, but a standard piece of JB knowledge is that you cannot restore Pwned FW to new bootrom devices.

Exactly, it works with the iTunes Restore function, not update function.
