Ok, so I use Ireland setting for phone numbers like (40) 9666 7888
yet after upgrading to iOS 7 GM, all numbers are displayed like 96 66788, which I hate. Trying to change it through settings-general-international-region format does nothing. Rebooting, reinstalling GM, restoring to older backup - nothing helps! What should i do?

Apparently you can't set parameters individually. I've recently set my region to Singapore, even though I'm in France. That gives me dd/mm/yyyy dates, a period for decimal fractions, and a spelling checker that accepts both UK and US spellings.

As for telephone numbers, try starting them with a plus sign and a country code. iOS seems to adjust the format correctly for each country if you use that format and it knows it's a phone number.
