help with safari

What do I have to erase in order for the address bar not to display the pages I have visited that start with that same letter?

This is that I've erased the cookies and cleared the history but still see that whenever I put in a an address on the bar it displays a bunch of addresses that start with the same letter. This has become kinda obnoxious and just want to know if I can not have this by erasing something.

thanks a lot for the link

but i still cannot find the little lock at the bottom that is referred to in the post and after doing that safari still completes the address I'm typing. I guess I'll just have to learn to live with that.
