I am trying to duplicate the features of SmartSleep (prefpane) that worked in Snow Leopard with Lion.

Lion seems to have broken support. Basically it takes 20 seconds for my MacBook Pro to sleep.

I want it to sleep (contents only on RAM) until it reaches a certain battery percentage, at which point I want it to safe sleep (write contents to disk) before it hibernates (once the battery reaches reserve level).

I found a script, but I have no idea how to utilize it.

1. How do I implement this?

2. Is there a way I could simply change pmset values to accomplish my needs listed above?
