Hey Guys!

Here's the setup:

Comcast business gateway ethernet router.

Time Capsule as wireless router and shared storage space.

What I'm looking to do:

Make the time capsule hard drive available remotely!

I've been reading about static IPs and trying to set it up that way, but i keep getting errors about invalid addresses, so I suspect that I'm doing it wrong. Any chance someone could walk me through this?

I thought Apple offered this feature on Time Machines?

Anyway if not you'll either have to pay for a static IP from your ISP or enable DYNDNS on your router.

Apple does, but it's through mobileme, which would be more complicated to set up for clients.

Any good dyndns tutorials you can point me to?
