Hi all,
I'm not very good at understanding computer technology; and usually need my hand holding when trying to master certain techniques !! So I need some help.

I have a new Apple MacBook Pro Retina and an Apple iPad also an iPhone 4s.

My problem as always been with photography and photos on any of my computers, I never seem to work out how it all comes together? On the Macbook pro there's iPhoto; and I have FlickR as a photo host! So my first question is :>

How do I share the photos between all my Apple Products?? also how do I move the photos between iPhoto and FlickR? I like photography - although not very good at it, I have an Olympus OMD-EM10 Camera and Olympus Viewer3, installed on the computer. now I'll need some step by step instructions on how to move photos about? Thanks..

Have you set up a photo stream between your Mac and iOS devices? That will ensure you get all your photos on the Mac from those. You can then (if I recall) set it up so your iPhoto library is available on your iOS devices.
Then you simply import all your pictures from your other cameras direct to iPhoto. Personally I dropped iPhoto in favour of Lightroom 5. Much more user friendly and better for photography.

As for not being any good at it. We have a digital photography sub forum https://forums.macrumors.com/forums/83/ on MR that will only be to happy to offer up advice. Why not post a picture or to in the POTD https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1812710/ thread?
