Take a look here…Can you help me find out what file also question assuming I drop all my pics in there it would add it to iCloud for me right
Well, if your photos are set to backup to iCloud, then when the next backup occurs the new photos will be backed up because they are now in the Camera Roll.worked thanks question tho
does all my pics in camera roll go to the icloud when doing this?
I would just merge all your images into one folder on your computer then copy them back over to the DCIM folder (overwriting the duplicates).Ok, so somehow I lost my camera roll after using instagram or something. anyway, i have a back up of my CR but I've also taken pics since I was on vacation. Is there any way to merge the backed up CR with the current one to import?
I hate losing all those pics and having to back up and then restore and then import a folder from iPhoto.
I saw the photos.sqlite file but i want to make sure this is the right one.
/private/var/Photo Data/Photos.sqlite?

I believe too, what you want is this:
/var/mobile/Media/PhotoData
The path you mention I don't have. iOS 7.1.2.
You could try a manual backup.thanks waiting for it to backup to icloud nothing yet since yesterday

Not sure how it all works now though with iOS 8 and the iCloud service thing.
