I have an iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.1 installed. Suddenly, the Dock would not appear when I moved the mouse to the bottom of the screen. At the same time I noticed the menu items would not highlight when the mouse pointer was rolled over them and some applications would open behind the current application rather than in front of the current one.

The only thing that's new is I installed the iPhone Developer's Kit.

Any ideas on what's causing these anomalies?

Thanks

It could be a permissions error which sometimes occur.

Boot up your mac with the instal disks and select disk utility and choose verify and repair permissions.

Sometimes it helps, Sometimes it doesn't but worth a try.

Thanks. That fixed the problem.
