Hello everyone I'm fairly new to this site and Macs as well. Here's my problem, I opened my terminal and my trash bin so I could delete my files, while in my terminal I entered "sudo rm -R " but I forgot to drag my files in my trash bin into the terminal after this. I hit enter without noticing my error and then typed in my password. Now when I open my terminal there is no text just a blank screen. Does anyone know how I can get the text back that previously automatically load when I opened my terminal. Sorry if this seems confusing.
