Help with the Launchpad button

So I was messing around with my keyboard shortcuts on my new MBA 13 inch and when I clicked reset to default, suddenly my f4 key stopped accessing launchpad and instead it does nothing. I can't seem to reset it as the f4 key but i really want the launchpad button. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Under the keyboard section of System Preferences, is the checkbox for "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" checked?

Wait...the "Use all F1, F2, etc..." isn't checked so all the rest of the specific function keys work. However, the launchpad button still doesn't work.

It appears that the people in the thread below are having the same problem as me and 30 min on the phone with Apple support, then reinstalling Lion, didn't fix the problem. I hope an update fixes this.
