I have found this satellite company that would work in my area but I don't know if it's such a good deal as far as protection. Here is a link to what they DON"T do. Is all wireless companies basically like this as far as so spam protection etc...?

Look for spam protection elsewhere. Search the forums for issues relating to SPAM, SPAM filtering, and email services. Satellite is not all it is cracked up to be, unless your paying for really premium service. Outages and interruptions are far greater than with land line to satellite services like the ones provided by phone and cable services. The cost is also really up there. This is just my experience.

Ok, this is wireless not satellite. The link you post goes to what they won't do. This looks reasonable, and kind of cool. It looks are reliable as a landline service.
