Help With Thunderbird Mail App

Hey all,
I've asked this question in the Mozilla Thunderbird support forums and never got an answer, so I'll turn to my Mac community. I have been looking for a plug in or anything that would allow me to open mail links behind Thunderbird, as Apple Mail allows. Anyone here know of a way to do this?

You can create a QuickAction with Automator. I have one that opens selected text from Thunderbird in the default browser (Safari in my case).
