Ever since I installed Lion I get this message every time Time Machine tries to back up:

"The network backup disk does not support the required AFP features.

Open Time Machine preferences to select a different backup disk."

What's my best option to correct this problem.

What kind of backup disk are you using? Lion has created issues with many NAS systems but no one is going to be able to offer much help until you give some more information about the problem.

Thank you for the response. I should have posted the needed information. I am using a Seagate, GoFlex wifi, 2 TB running through a Actiontech n router/modem. I hope this helps.

Yep, lion probably broke your connection capability. Follow the above link to try to fix it
