Help with Trackpad occasionally no working.

I have a 2009 unibody macbook pro and lately my track pad has been skipping around, moving by itself, and/or not having control of it.. Then it will start working again.. Has anyone has this problem? The surface is clean, my hands, everything. Just started this week. My warranty is also complete. Any suggestion s or how much will it cost? Thanks
