I connect a VOIP ATA (sipura spa-1001) to my Apple Extreme Base station (n) and have up until now just used the automatic setting under 'Ethernet Wan Port'. However, I've noticed that it defaults to half-duplex and that my voip calls become half-duplex too (meaning we can only hear one person at a time). When I connect the VOIP ata directly to the modem, full duplex is achieved.

The problem is that when I change the WAN port setting from automatic to 100/full duplex, wireless doesn't work at all, nor does there seem to be a connection through the LAN ports either since VOIP doesn't work then either.

can somebody help me make full duplex work on the WAN port? I'm not knowledgeable enough to solve this one..

thanks!
