Help with windows version

hoping to buy my first mac in the next couple of days.

I need to get a copy of windows to run 1 program so dont want to spend much. Can anyone recommend a website/shop i can buy an oem version in the UK which I can have some trust that it will work.

If you just need to run the occasional windows program, you might wanna check out Crossover, instead of buying a full windows CD.

yeah,sp2 xp is the one i installed on mine. i thought i read that you shouldnt do sp3,but wotever. i think it installs later,dunno yet for i havnt updated yet.

and thats a cheap price for xp.i wonder if its pirated. lol

its cheap because its an OEM version from germany lol, hope it isnt pirated though. Its possible that it might not work if its licensed to a certain system ie. if it was meant to be bought with a dell or its already been used or somethin. but windows is so expensive!!
