So bootcamp tells me to use the mac os x install disc to install the drivers for xp, but when i put the disc in not only do i not know what to do, xp says it cant read the dvd/cd unless its vista or something like that... can anyone help me?

I suggest you go with Windows 7 64bit. It has less driver problems...
or if you must use XP, i think this should help.

I seriously would consider Windows 7 64bit. It's awesome.
